Hoosier Traditional Mortgage Guidelines Announced
Guidelines for Hoosier Traditional Mortgage providers have been announced by David Mills, director of the Indiana Department of Financial Institutions. The Hoosier Traditional Mortgage program is a voluntary registration program for all mortgage lenders and mortgage brokers.
The program was enabled by the Indiana legislature in the 2010 session, originally under the name of “Five Star Mortgage Lender.” The Hoosier Traditional Mortgage program is intended to promote and encourage a return to conventional mortgage lending and to provide educational opportunities for Hoosier homebuyers and owners.
